Nancy Jo Sullivan mastered the art of writing short stories in the mid 1990s, working with the editors at Guideposts magazine. Since that time, she has written eight books and numerous articles, publishing with Reader’s Digest, Loyola, The Huffington Post, and Multnomah-Random House.
With over forty years of ministry experience, Nancy Jo has worked with both Catholic and Evangelical publishers. Her writings impart an inclusive message of grace that seeks to encourage all believers.
The mother of three grown daughters, Nancy Jo’s oldest, “Sarah,” now resides in heaven. Born with Downs syndrome, Sarah’s spiritual insights and perspectives continue to inspire her mother’s writings. Nancy Jo’s expanding family now includes sons-in-law who stand six feet tall, and two tiny grand babies. Committed to physical and spiritual wellness, Nancy Jo is fond of hiking, snowshoeing, and spinach smoothies. These days, she continues to hear God’s non-negotiable call to write and serve. Retirement, if there is such a thing, isn’t happening anytime soon!
